Martha’s fear escalated

As the team positioned themselves around the sink, Martha’s anxiety surged to a whole new level. The creature beneath the glass was reacting violently now, its body slamming into the sides and making the surface jump. “It’s getting more agitated,” she warned, her voice shaking as her grip began to fail.

George gave her a sharp nod, then turned to the team. “We’re ready,” he said, signaling them to hold their tools tightly. The tension in the room was suffocating. “On my count,” George instructed, eyes locked on the glass. Martha’s heart pounded in her ears as the final moment approached. “One… two… three!” George shouted, and in an instant, everyone moved.
