Philipp Rösler & Wiebke Lauterbach

Philipp Rösler, who made German history as a politician of Vietnamese origin, was one of the most intriguing figures in politics during the 2010s. As Minister of Economics and Vice-Chancellor, he brought a breath of fresh air to the German government before opting for a move into international business in 2014, where he took on various leadership roles.

He has been married to physician Wiebke Lauterbach since 2003. Together, they have twin girls who were born in 2008. The family now lives in Switzerland and enjoys a quieter life away from the political limelight. Nevertheless, Rösler remains active worldwide, particularly in economic and humanitarian organizations, where he contributes his expertise.
