Aleksandra Bechtel & Alexander Let
Aleksandra Bechtel, the daughter of a lawyer and a teacher, decided early on to follow her passion for the media world instead of pursuing an academic career. After musical beginnings in the USA, she became known in the early 90s at VIVA, where she hosted shows like “Interaktiv” and “Amica TV” and rose to become one of the faces of young German television.
Her breakthrough in TV continued when she took over the moderation of the first seasons of “Big Brother,” further increasing her popularity. Bechtel has been married to financial expert Alexander Let since 2006. Together they have two sons and lead a happy family life. Both take great care to keep their private life largely out of the public eye.
