Despite the rather basic humor in this stoner comedy, the sight of Natalie Portman’s backside in a bathing scene provides a striking contrast. Interestingly, a body double was used for this particular scene.
Surprisingly, this decision wasn’t due to concerns about showing her bare bottom, but rather because she personally wasn’t willing to jump into the freezing lake. This decision highlights her professional attitude and makes it clear that actors sometimes have to make compromises to realize the cinematic vision.
