Siblings Share a Coke, 1956
The phrase “Sharing is caring!” comes to life in this charming 1956 photo, where a sister offers her Coke to her sibling. It’s a simple yet powerful moment of generosity and connection. Coca-Cola, one of the world’s most iconic beverages, was first served on May 8, 1886, by Atlanta pharmacist Dr. John S. Pemberton.
While Dr. Pemberton developed the original formula, it was his bookkeeper, Frank M. Robinson, who came up with the name “Coca-Cola” and designed the brand’s signature script logo—still used today.
